New issues arises everyday, sometimes amusing sometimes bemusing, some....relatively stupid until you don't mind knocking your head on the wall. One of those are scammers preying on the small naive community within our society. These people go all out and try so hard to make you believe 1 + 1 = 3.
Most are mandarin speaking people who have so much time to convince people to "deposit" money than using their charisma to earn themselves an honest living. I can't help reading in the papers everyday, our society being scammed up to a 6-figure value. 6 ok!!! Imagine saving up that much and losing it in seconds. Kinda looks like a 4 year old kid tricking his/her parents to buy a real airplane.
I once got one of these calls. Apparently if you can't respond back in mandarin, they don't see you as "potential customers". Damn rascist.
To those "victims" who easily got tricked, give yourself a knock, maybe 2 on the head darn it. It's so ancient china to think heaven pours gold unto you out of the blue these days. We live in a world where honesty is only uphold by those who truly believe in loving their neighbours while others just go by taking as much as they can.
What happen to hardwork and persistence if you can so easily "win" lotteries? This is what i dislike about reality shows as well. Any Tom, Dick & Harry can be a millionare these days. Wanna be a millionare? Go to Indonesia, their currency are in the hundred thousands anyway.
Reality shows are nevertheless fun to watch and hilarious, only the fact it benefits the winner and the winners are practically in no need of the cash.
Why not have a reality show where the most cash earned at the end of the day, goes to charity? Or to the poor who have nothing to feast on? Or African children who need medication? Like i mentioned, what happen to hardwork if our lives could be changed with one appearance in reality shows?
